End of Turf & Grounds

Turf & Grounds rotation ended last Friday.  For the week, I deadheaded Lilacs for 1 day, then ended up using gas shears and doing Ilex hedges for several days and then just tipping some random stuff.  I also got to drive the Toro Groundmaster mower, use the Toro equivalent of a Skag, and take my skills test.  Skills test included talking a little about how to hedge, then a lot about mower maintenance which was more valuable.  Sorry to the other groups I’ve worked with – I liked T&G the best.  Weather ended with:  87, 91, 89, 89, 85.  2nd hottest july on record, by 1/10th of a degree.
