School starts again tomorrow

We have had the past 2 weeks off for summer break.  Couple that with working in the Nolen for 3 weeks, and I haven’t really seen anyone else except for Luis for over a month…which all ends tomorrow with the start of Disease ID class.

Over the break, I went to Massachusetts and ate a great dinner at the Herb Lyceum, visited friends in Vermont, and stayed in a yurt in Maine.  While in Maine, I visited the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller garden and Garland Farm of Beatrix Farrand fame.  I also stopped by Old Westbury Gardens on Long Island.  Photos are coming, and hopefully I’ll get permission to post the Abby Aldrich photos soon.
